The other weekend Craig and I took part in the annual London to Brighton mini run.

Craig's love of the Mini goes way back into the mists of time; I tag along because there's something really joyful about an entire city being taken over by a swarm of cute little cars. (Apologies to anyone in Brighton though, it must be a nightmare trying to have a normal Sunday!)

The little 1985 mini we undertook the epic journey in was my first car, bought from my next door neighbour back when I was 18 and learning to drive. Since then Pootle has become more pretty much a family pet, undergoing a series of loving restorations / reincarnations at Craig's hands. The first of these was so he could play a starring role at our wedding, his red paint refreshed and shiny, Groom and best man arriving at our venue in style.

It goes without saying I have a soft spot for classic cars at weddings.

Here's a little round up of some of my favourites on Pinterest.  As always, I'd love to hear about any little gems you've found.

Camper vans are just cool. They have their own laid back pace, a beachy boho kind of feel AND enough seats to transport all your bridesmaids. What's not to love?

I do love a classic coach: perfectly stylish for transporting guests between ceremony and reception venues.

If you're planning a vintage village fete celebration, arriving in a cute classic complete with a back shelf full of blooms is a must. Just make sure your dress isn't too big!

And what about a getaway car? You could always treat yourselves to a sporty little number...
